How is this course delivered?
Our Scrum Master Course is a 2-day, classroom-based course with dates in Dublin all year-round.
Following training, you will need to allow some time for study and further learning using the online portal. This timeline varies from person to person. Once you feel ready, you will schedule and complete your online Scrum Master exam.

What Scrum Master certification will I achieve?
There are several different Scrum Master certifications available on the market. We have chosen to offer the SCRUMstudy Scrum Master Certified (SMCTM) qualification based on its wide-reaching, international recognition, and SCRUMstudy’s reputation as a global provider of Scrum and Agile certifications.
How long does it take to get certified?
Several elements may impact how long it takes you to achieve your Scrum Master Certification (see our article “Achieving Scrum Master Certification”), but it is possible to become certified within a 1 month period.
Training takes 2 days, the average study period is between 2 and 4 weeks, and the exam takes 120 minutes. Once you pass your exam, you will receive your Scrum Master certification from SCRUMstudy.
How is the exam structured?
The Scrum Master Certified (SMCTM) exam is an online exam, taken after you have completed training and a further period of study. The exam has a duration of 120 minutes, and contains 100 multiple-choice questions.
Do I need experience to attend this course?
No previous experience is needed for this training. It’s the perfect way to become familiar with Scrum project management and the abilities required to perform the role of Scrum Master.
What is the difference between Scrum and Agile?
Agile is a flexible approach to managing projects. It’s an overall methodology and philosophy for project management.
Scrum is a sub-set of Agile, a way of implementing Agile principles. There are several sub-sets of Agile, including XP, Crystal and Kanban. Scrum is the most popular of these sub-sets.
